I have a 1995 Lightning that's been sitting for about 7 years, ran perfect before it was parked, no issues. Long story short i was away from it for that whole time and I'm just now able to actually drive it. Being as it was parked for so long and I'm questioning as to whether or not it was tampered with while I was away, I'm dropping both fuel tanks and cleaning them as well as various other things. I'm going to be replacing the fuel pump assembly in both tanks. Does anyone know if it requires two separate model number assemblies for the front and rear tank? One site I've been on shows a "different" model number pump for the front tank versus the rear, but everywhere else I've looked just lists the one. I have no problem ordering two separate model assemblies but I would prefer not to order from the site that was listing the two separate ones. If anyone could answer this question or point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.
