Anyone ever remove their Lightning emblems?

Wondering if anyone else thought about taking them off.

There was a picture of this before the board revision I think. Shaved handels, gas cap (under rear light) and suicide (sp) doors. Anybody have it? I believe it was a Red 99.

IMHO, I like the "stealth" look, but would never get rid of all the badges. There's a ding-dong in my neighborhood running around with a lowered Expedition, tricked out with Lightning emblems/badges on it. Everytime I pass the punk I give him one of those "yea dats rite, sukka - it's a REAL Lightning" looks

I hear ya MaxP - just the other day I was behind a regular F-150 extended cab which was very obviously a work truck, and what do I see on the tailgate but a SVT F-150 badge! Unfortunately traffic wouldn't let me pull up next to him, and then he turned off. I hope he saw me though. What a punk!

thought about shaving all the emblems also, then was told about the alignment holes in the back.

ok, a have a lot of body work done at the local paint shop i can get a deal, drove up to see what the price would be, 500 for the three emblems...

was told as the tail gate and fenders go down the line a stamping machine puts the holes in and creates not just the hole but also a indentation around the hole thats not quite flush with the rest of the panel, so the amount of body work required to make it look like it was never there was what jacked up the price..

There's one of those here. I see him on Sugarloaf Prky. Defiantly a work truck. SVT F150 on the rear and a Cobra emplem on the side. I wouldn't mind seeing it recessed though. Imagine having is shaved smooth but actually the Letters are recessed and sealed.

The picture that was on here really was slick. It was taken at some truck show I think. I really like the shaved gas cap. It was relocated to the rear Tail Light that opened on a hinge and there it is.

I like the idea that mocklab had with recessing the emblems, though... That'd look killer! ...hmmm wonder how much $$$

Cool

$200 for the tailgate and $200 for each fender. I had the holes (2 per emblem) welded and refinished.

I actually added a "LIGHTNING" emblem on the tailgate under the svt-f150. Looks great and also lets the competition behind me on the road that this bizotch is nothing to be reconed with.
