L or 98 Trans Am?
L or 98 Trans Am?
I'm always praising you L boys (and gals) to my buddy who has a 98 Trans Am with 5.7 engine. He claims a fully modded TA will whoop a similiarly modded L. Please tell me he's full o' shyte!
the fact that your buddy even drives a Trans Am proves that he may have limited mental capacity. I mean, come on, this isn't the '70s. Smokey and the bandit hasn't had a sequel in quite some time.

But seriously, tell your buddy that my truck has only 4 modifications (one of which is a drop in air filter that a friend GAVE me). My mods not including my gifted air filter (normally around $50 bucks?) come to a grand total of $700. It took me EXACTLY two hours to install all of my mods onto my truck.
So for $700 bucks and two hours worth of my time, my truck runs LOW 12.70s at 106.9mph. I raced with the local F-body club at a recent Saturday test and tune, and all I've got to say is that your buddy must be dreaming.
tell him i'd be happy to race him anytime.

later,
chris
