Talking Jdm Kidnapped In Texas!

Ya you're right WE kidnapped him. You guys up north have had it too good too long. Having your personal turer at the track. Now its our turn. We are revoking his US citizenship and making him a TEXAN.

At our 1/4 strip, yea I finally went there 150 mile round trip, Jim tuned trucks all night long. In between he had a chance to make two runs 11.90 and 11.98. Weather was awful. Temp 69-70 and humidity going up to 96%. I looked at his truck and there ain't no NITROS and thats all I'll say about that and I witnessed his runs.

He tuned my truck down from a 13.35 to a 13.10 and all the while the conditions were getting worse and whats more I weighted SNOWPLOW and me and got a whopping 4968 whilc CAKA weighted in 400 pounds less. CAKA was striping his truck after every pass, hitch, spare tire, sway bar. Its a good thing it got late, I think the bumpers were next. He ran a new best of 12.45 and still has 355 gears. I had a new 90 mm maf installed and Jim changed the programming after every run and hook up the diognostic box to it and we made a run so he could see if anything was wrong. It wasn't. SNOWPLOW is going on a diet. I had way too much gas too as I didn't want to stop going home.

Jim, I have sent two Afgans to burn your house. Pick a site out here in Houton and well give you a house.

A really great time for all. Thanks Jim and Julie.

noelvm has converted? Say it isn't so.

I think you have to admit that JDM knows their stuff. Glad you've seen the light.

Especially since most of the owners of the trucks JDM is working on this week are changing their names to "Bubba ChipnPulley", you'd be right... That'll make 80% of TALON into the 12's...

Wink Don't pay the Ransom they escaped....

Well almost.....

Jim and crew left for Ennis yesterday. I must say we had a wonderful time.

The track results Wednesday put smiles on everybodies faces. Jim ran a 11.90 and 11.98. Incredible, just incredible!!!!!

I ran a 12.83 at 107 with my porker. We weighed in at 4964. I thought I was heavy.... noelvm beat me by 4 pounds.

Jim, Julie, Shuan, Steph and Madeline were all wonderful and some of the finest people I ever met. They really brought the Lightning community together.

JDM tuned 20+ Lightnings, 1 Mustang while they were here. HALO gave a special welcome for JDM with 24 Lightning there.

Everybody enjoyed themselves.

JDM made it to TALON country late last night. I think we may need to make room in the lightning for a navigation system.....

I know at least one TALON member OneRedTXBolt who went from stock to chipped filtered and pulied in about 2 hours last nite is a happy camper.

Hope the weather holds out today for test and tune.

Doug
