Angry ignition Lock cylinder malfunction....

I have had it for a while, but I am usually able to free it up!!! But today of all days it wouldn't unlock. I called roadside assistance to pick up the truck to take to the dealer but while I was on the phone the lock cylinder decided to work so I took it to the dealer and they couldn't get it to malfunction, so I said "oh well"!!!

On the way home I had to make a couple of stops and on every stop the cylinder jammed, WTF!!!!

I was just wondering if any of you guys have had this problem. I think I am an isolated issue, but I wanted to see if I was the only one.

Kyle,
whats up man

I have never heard of this happening before, and I thought I have heard just about everything. To me it seems like an isolated problem, and a pain in the butt as well if you ask me. Have someone from the dealership take a ride with you, and hopefully they will see it for themselves. Good Luck bud

Spiro,
Whats up!!!!

I HATE going to the dealer, they talk to me like have never driven this truck. The guy thought I had the steering wheel locked and I always park with wheel perfectly center. If it comes down to it, I will buy the $30 lock cylinder and fix it myself.

See ya on the 17th!!!

When I put my shifter into "Park", I am now quite often not able to turn the key to the "Off" position and pull the key out. Pushing up on the shift lever frees it up, but the issue is becoming a little too frequent.

Time for some Wheaties I guess.
