Wet Okole for a Red Lightning
I just got my Red Lightning about 2 weeks ago and have found so much useful information on this site it is unbelivable. Well until the truck gets broken in for the performance mods, I have decided to go broke by adding appearance mods. My first two are a bed rug and wet okole seat covers.
I need some help in figuring out what color style to use for the seat covers. I searched and decided the red with black sides is too loud for me (nice though), and I read about the raves for the all black with red lightning logos. Problem is I have a hard time getting something I can not visualize since I have not been able to find any pictures of wet okoles in red lightning (especially the all black with red labels). All you red lightning owners with wet okoles please post pics. This newbie would be greatly appreciative. Thanks.

Thank you...
From Speedin Bob's and captainoblivious's pictures, I think I finally figured out what I am going to go with. It will be charcoal and black with red lightning logos. That should match the inside pretty well along with giving attention to the outside's red. Thank you guys so much for the help and I'll make sure to post pics after I get them installed. Hopefully that will be before this month ends.

im not meaning to stir things up, but why do you guys like to put covers on the seats? i dont really understand? are you protecting them for the next buyer when you sell the truck? it kind of reminds me of the old days when your mother put plastic covers on the furniture so you wouldnt soil it. it was only taken off when company came over. the rest of the time you had to sit in misery on the plastic to save it!! for what im not sure?? isnt it better to enjoy it??

lightning al - for me it's a daily driver. I have days when I get in the truck and I'm wet from rain, they protect from that.
Plus I like the look of the covers better, and the new covers have cushioning on them making them more comfortable.

no stirring necessary :)
Al,
Having launched my coffee mug to the rear of the cabin in the wee hours of the morning and allowing my hounds inside, these prove to be exactly the reason for the protection.
Mine is a daily driver also and the LAST thing I want to is scrub the seats or spend 10 minutes wrestling animals trying to get their feet dry prior to entry..
OBTW, Protecting the seats helped me to snag $22K trade-in for my 31000 miled 99 Lightning yesterday and the covers will be on my SILVER 2001 within 48 hours of delivery.
