That's cool, so others are experiencing this pulley sound and it seems to be normal/harmless. Great!

BTW, when removing the stock pulley, how did most people accomplish that? What size breaker bar did you guys use? I am convinced that the stock pulley that I removed was the absolute TIGHTEST ever! I know people said it would be tight and tough to get off, but this was ridiculous. We used Rhino Ramps and a 15" breaker bar and I could barely flex the bar about an inch using my arms (I wonder now how much difference an 18" or 24" breaker bar would have made). Seriously, I tried everything to break that pulley loose, resulting in either doing chin ups (lifting myself almost completely off the floor), dragging myself across the garage floor from one side of the truck to the other while yanking on the bar, and even grabbing the tire and putting my feet on the stupid bar and grunting for all I was worth...nada. Does anybody have any weird or strange ways they got their pulley off? Just curious, hehe.

Hit the breaker bar with a hammer, loosens right up.

I couldn't get mine loose either--didn't use ramps but jack stands so I wasn't able to get enough leverage. I drove to Sears and bot the longest b/bar they had--still unable to do it. Finally, sucked in my ego and called a heftier neighbor--he broke it loose--maybe I had 'shocked' it enough that he was able to break it loose(hehehe)?
