Unhappy new L eaton knocking

i just traded my 99 cobravert for a 2001 L
with 100 miles on it. now over 200.
when i get on it over and over the blower
starts to knock if i stay out the boost for a while
after the knocking starts, it goes away completly.
dealer techs drove it said they could not get it to knock

does anyone know why im experiancing this knocking?
thank you

Sounds like you bearings may be gone. If it is the bearings, they will just get worse and you will ba able to hear them at any RPM.

rrichy,

2_FAST4U is correct...bad bearings don't get better...the friction increases...get the blower replaced asap....

My past 2000 L had the engine / blower replaced at ~3000 miles due to piston slap and sure enough the new blower (on the relacement engine) had a bad snorkel bearing...they latter replaced the blower in under 3 hours BUT MAKE SURE THEY TORQUE THE BOLTS PROPERLY...on mine they did'nt.
