Fuel Saver--Fact or fiction

If you do a search on Ebay right now their is a product called Super Fuelmax (just type in fuelmax). It claims to increse fuel economy by 27%. As all modifications, the advertizing #'s are bs but if this could save us just a little bit of gas, I would be happy. Has anyone experimented with this?? These beasts suck with fuel economy and this could be a great mod. If it did live up to its 27%, that would mean about 3 more miles to the gallon which could add up big time.
(Sorry no link, I really suck with computers. If someone knows how to add a link, please post)

Thanks for the reply, but I am looking or some backed up evidence that it does or dosen't work. I know that their are alot of products that say they will save fuel like the spiral max or tornado (same thing basically) but does anyone know for sure what really works or not. boy, I pay more in gas each month than I pay for insurance and I sure wouldn't mind that changing.

I don't have the links handy, but according to the EPA, none of those super fuel saving products work. If they did, the car manufacturers would be using them to reduce emissions in their new cars to save money. Search for Fuelmax on yahoo, and you'll come up with the evidence that they don't work.

I have a device on my L called "fuel mag", and it works pretty good when the truck is STOCK. Before the fuel mag I was averaging 17mpg, with the fuel mag I was averaging 20mpg. I seen a big difference.

The device hooks up right before the fuel rails and is held on with electical ties. It supposeably use magnets inside, and those do something to the molecules in the fuel. I didn't do that much research on it, but I can tell you, it worked.
