the streets were dry....

and the air was cool, for the first time since I drove it home last weekend. I had about an hour to kill so I went out to kill some cars and ended up get three races:

1.) jag xj8(i think xj8): d@mn that car handed me my AZZ, i didn't know those cars got down like that. He pulled hard all the way through first and second and was still pulling me, we shut them down and congratulated each other. he looked really surprised that a truck was that fast though.

2.) chevy s10 eXtreme: I don't know why I even bothered. We took off and that was the last time I ever saw him

3.) 95 ford cobra: dead even from about 55 to about 110ish. then he started inching on me, by about 125 my nose was at his tire. that made the night complete.

can't wait till those mods come. PSP if you read this...please email me, I am ready.....

Ahhhhhhh,

I really miss those South Florida nights---was born and raised in Miami 62+ yrs. ago. My first car was a 1937 Ford business coupe--customized and hot-rodded but it wouldn't run like our Ls!

Good 'kills'--I can't find any around here except at the track--maybe I'm just too old--not yet!!!

The Jaguar XJR is a Supercharged 6 Cyl, not V8. Still hauls a$$ though.

XJR is a supercharged V8. 0-60 in 5.4sec

http://www.us.jaguar.com/default.asp?levels=1410

The XK8 is the same engine without the S/C, only 290 HP. I don't think one of thses would beat a L unless it was modded.
