One bad thing about the Blower
You got that right about the S/C whine. Left my friends' house the other day and he said all he could hear was the whine. This was from about 3/4 of a mile away with a lot of trees between his house and the place where I got into it.
I love the whine and its even louder when you put on an Air Filter system or Single Blade TB. I just put on the upper pulley to and its even louder. Well i dont really have a problem with the cops where i live i know most of them went to highschool with like all of them. And im pretty much safe with my cousins PBA card whos a county cop and says family memeber on it. I have noticed that whenever i did get pulled over in my truck it was for like 2 seconds and once they saw the PBA card then were like ok you can go. I think they were just pulling me over to check out my truck hehe. I had one cop pull me over for my lighted ford logos he said i need them hooked up to another switch. Again no ticket because of the PBA card but he was like this truck is hot and looks good just hook the logos up to a differnet switch then the lights.

Yeah, the reason why is posted this is beacuse of an incident I had yesterday.
I was turning at a stop sign, giving it the old giddy up and go, and my wife pulls on my arm and points.
A block away a cop was outside his car talking to a parked motorist, but he heard my truck and snapped his head around and look right at me. he then Jumped in his car and fired it up and got on the road. I never went 5 mph over the speed limit, and I did not spin the tires.
I thought for sure he was gonna pull me over. Maybe he just wanted to run my plates.
Anyhow I'm quite certain that it was the blower that got his attention. I live in a beach community of about 20 thousand and it's only a matter of time before every damm cop in town knows the sound of the blower hehe.
Maybe I should start going to the gym they all work out at over by the police station and try to make friends out of a couple of 'em

Every Fri. night..............
5 or 6 guys walk up, look at the eng., and ask "What's that noise/SCREAM that your truck makes runnin' down the track?" I grin and reply "it's the noise the asphalt makes as the upper layer is RIPPED from the base layer."
Several have said that other Ls don't make THAT noise--thanks JL!

You're right about that. You can however outrun a state trooper. I did a few months ago. He had me on radar doing at least 120 while I was passing someone. I saw him start his car and turn from the median to the freeway. That is the last I saw of him. I floored it took the next exit, about 5 miles up the road, and then took some back roads until I figured I was safe. I was scared (knees shaking) for awhile, but figured I was going to be in trouble if I stopped.
