I know, this isnt a lightning question, but all of you seem to know alot. Does anyone have any pictures or information on the 2003 F-150, And if they will make an L that year.

We are still waiting for the 2002 to make its apperance. If you do a net search for the Lightning Rod concept you will get a lot of info. I am not sure if that is the 2003 model but I know that they plan on changing the design soon and that is the only one that has changed from present F-150 designs.

 

The Lightning Rod is nothing more than a styling concept....you won't ever see that in production.

 

The Lightning Rod is a concept, but the front-end on it looks a lot like spy shots I have seen of the 2003 Expedition.

I believe that the F150 styling will be more angular, and I wouldn't be surprised to see the L as a styleside, rather than a flareside.

Purely conjecture on my part, not buttressed by any real facts.
