Question Question on Washers, TSB, Herb

Hello all, I am new to the board, but have read the f.a.q., but still have questions. I bought a new 2001 L. last Saturday. No noises heard at this time. What are the washers everyone is talking about ? Also, what is TSB ? Who is Herb ? Thank you.

Herb sells the washers that prevents the movement and noise (clunk) caused when the Lightning's left lower control arm bolt slides in the slotted hole in the frame. TSB stands for Technical Service Bulletin.

Herb:

not only 'sells' them---------he created them and they are works of machined art.

Soap: do a search on "herb's washers"--I just did and there's several posts you can get the info you need.

Thumbs up

I just installed a set a few weeks ago.

I thought they were kinda pricey, but I don't regret it. "The Clunk" was getting very annoying, and I haven't heard a thing since I installed them.
