12's !!! and keeping my promise

Although the weather was questionable to say the least, I took
off for the local track as soon as I got home from the car plant
last night. Temperature in the low 50"s.
When I arrived it looked doubtful as the clouds were thick and
threatening, but alas I changed tires, let the L cool down, then
proceeded to the staging lanes.
Here we go, first time trial, pulled into the left lane, backed into
the water, smoked the E/T's to get them warm, pulled up to the
lights, took her up to around 1200, waited for the lights to come
down, hammered it on the last yellow and this is what happened.

.611------R/T
2.020-----60 ft.
5.465-----330 ft.
7.821-----E/T @ 594 ft.
8.341----1/8 E/T
86.54-----1/8 MPH
10.776---1000' E/T
12.881----1/4 E/T
108.98---MPH

I have arrived!!!!!! What a feeling!!!!!

20 minutes later as we were all setting in the lanes waiting for
our 2nd run the clouds opened up and washed us out.
They called it a rain out and we can attend a later date to make
up for it.

My L has 2650 miles her and I promised myself that if and when I
reached the 12's that I would stop hammering her and just drive
her to cruise-inns, and special events.
Well that time has come.
Anyone interested in a set of Mickey Thompson E/T Streets
26 x 11.5 x 16's mounted on American Racing Outlaw's with
approximately 20 runs on them. I will deal if so.

Have a Great Day, I know I will.

Thumbs up Awsome

Marc
Congratts on joining the club. Just get the 60" times down, and watch you E/T's fall.

I would keep the tires for when you go to some of the special events.
