The October Trailer Boats magazine sez Ford may be getting serious about the marine engine market long dominated by the General. They show a marinized Lightning engine in a Correct Craft ski tow. Rumor has it Ford may be partnering with Yahama on a complete range of engines. The mod motors aluminum heads will pose a problem and probably will require a closed cooling system.

 

I thought I heard a while back the Lightning motors were first created for boats. Like I said just something i heard.
