Help - Those Who Have Installed Ecu Chip Upgrades

Where is the ECU located at? I have a JL chip to install and I am not familar with the F-150 placement. I will delete this thread after it is responded to so that it won't clutter up the BBS. Thanks for your help.

Normally we do installs of new chips at HALO BurgerNFries nite. We have a special on on 10/2 at the Hooters at NASA Rd 1 and 45S. Let us know at www.haloclub.com so we have the tools and alcohol and tape to do it for you. Once the initial cleaning has been done it only take a minute or two to change chips. 99% of all new chip problems stem from improperly cleaned PCM connectors.

Thanks for all the suggestions and help. I got it installed fairly easy, I have a chemical that strips and dissolves the coating without harming the PCB. I will try to make it to HALO B&F on OCT 2'nd.

Thanks to everyone for your help.
