As some of you know, I like build things and my latest project is a 38 story high rise in LA. Today was the first day erecting structural steel. I took this photo this morning and remembered a quote by Rocky Marciano:
The winners are the ones who keep coming back.

Spike, do you work down here? If so, maybe we could meet for lunch at Phillipe's and bench race Lightnings.

I fly down on Mondays and stay in either Bev Hills (home of the fake b@@b) or Thousand Oaks for a few days. Where's Phillipe's?

Beverly Hills or Thousand Oaks, both nice places to stay. Phillipe's is on Alameda Street, just north of Union station. It's right on the fringes Chinatown.

Quaint old LA restraurant. It was a soup kitchen during the depression. Now it's a place for the rich and famous, and the down and out.

Email me with a phone number, and I'll call.. I'd like to see that new project.
