Great dealer in Minnesota

the wife and i went down to American Ford and bought a new car today . A little Focus .. i told my wife she could have any car as long as it was a Ford.I can tell you that out of the 3 Ford dealerships ive bought cars from this was by far the best .And yes its a SVT dealership . So if your in the market for a L or Cobra and dont feel like getting jerked around i highly recommend them . PHONE: (952) 831-7000 and you all know i dont work for them ... i just think good service is hard to come by and when it does let people know
thanks Jason

Yes Jason i agree!! have been there once now for a complete wheel balance,, and get this,, i am going back for the I/C fix, and the Lower a-frame bolt fix :-) Brought the truck in to show em the a frame bolt was sliding around, and the tech said theres a TSB out for that, and i didn't even have to tell them to order the new I/C and intake they just did it!! Also will get a fresh 4 wheel alignment,, Yes that is American Ford!! Tom Busyn is the SVT salesman there he posts on svtper.com under Tommylightning,,,, actually i think he might be a moderator over there,,, 2000 L JDM. fan,, Billet SB,, Greg,,,

Cedar Falls

retics4me,

When are you heading out to Cedar Falls. I've been meaning take my truck to a track sometime before the snow flies. I've never been to a track before, so this would be quite the experience for me.

BTW, a friend of mine was in Cedar Falls the other weekend, and said he talked to a guy that had a 2000 silver lighting, running low 13's. Was that you?

I am planning buying an L in 2002. Talked with Tommy at A.F. Seems like a good sort, so he will be one of those I try to deal with.

Do you know if they do X plan? Are they "mod" friendly?

Thanks.

jaymz,

I bought my Lightning from Tommy @ American Ford, and I'm very pleased with them. He is quite knowledgeable, and definitely made buying a new vehicle a fun experience. I can't tell you if they do X plan or not, but I did get a pretty good deal on the truck. As far as mods go, he told me they will not void warrantee work. You can ask him yourself to make sure, his screen name over at svtperformance.com is TommyLightning.

Thumbs up Boltittome

Yup, that's me. So you are the one that keeps me fed. I live in olivia, and work in bird island for a software company.

Nice dyno numbers, where did you go to get it dynoed? I'm interested to see what kind of numbers I would put up. All I've done to my truck so far is straight pipes. And i've seen mixed opinions on H.P. Gains/Losses. I don't understand how it could hurt h.p. But what do i know. Hopefully I'll have some 1/8 miles times on saturday. I'm going to try and get up to Grove Creek.
