Very sweet ride. Love to play with one. $50k-64K for a Mustang? Not me.

To each his/her own, but, 64K for a 'stang??? I think I'll take a Boss 302 & a Boss 429 for just about the same or a little more.

Needfourspeed, Should be able to get a couble of boss 302's for 64K.

Saleens's have always been optimistic on their Hp ratings.

That is hideous!

Mustangs are land animals...they should not have "gills". Those fake styling gills in that huge ugly vent on the side are just nausiating.

Ditto on the 'gills'...

I'd get a late model Viper for that kind of money...

Jay Lincoln - I meant both the 302 and the 429. Better yet with some smart shopping; how about the 302 and a nice Pantera?

Are those things on the road yet? I saw a Saleen that looked just like that driving around San Diego recently.

Doesn't worry me. It wouldn't stand a chance against my snake.

One thing is for sure that we could beet one from a stop(fingers still will be crossed). My dad has a 99' Saleen S/C S281 with about 350+HP and 410ft. lbs. of torque and I can beet him from a stop all day long. From a roll he will take me though. He has 3.08 gears too so he has lots of top end. Of course they might not have a traction problem anymore with the new Saleen "MaxGrip" speed-sensitive limited slip diff. The only way to know is to race one.

Who cares if it has gills on it as long as it looks nice. What does a cobra snake have to do with a mustang? Nothing, but you dont hear me complaining.

I Thought money was NO object? I also would have a couple Boss's in the garage next to the Saleen
