wohooo!!!

just got word that i am the proud owner of a brand new Silver 2001 Lightning...My dad just bought it like two hours ago in Houston and should be here n 3 or 4 hours... Oh one more thing he told me that the salesman said the new lighning is gonna be over 400 horses (405 or 410) and the stereo is gonna be upgraded to the Mach system...don't know if it's true.

my salesman told me, that if i put all my trash in the bed, and closed the bed cover, the g-forces alone would crush the garbage into a neat little bundle, before i could get to the dump.

LOL..So the B.S. thing about the 2002 Lightning or what? anyway it's a silver 2001 Lightning..don't know the mileage should have about 400 when he gets here (Houston is about 6-7 hour drive: probably a lot faster from the way he was talking about the speed of the truck ..HE got it at MSRP..Tried to get a red one in Austin Saturday but the idiots at the dealership were asking for a $5000 markup...So we called Houston and found a Dealership (Haik Ford) to sell at MSRP (better than paying 5 grand)..Traded in my 2000 Pontiac Grand Am GT for the Lightning ..Can't wait to drive it..
