Thumbs up PSP Electric Fan and Water Pump Dyno Results!

Went to the dyno again on friday and had a before and after dyno with my new PSP electric fan and water pump and this setup was worth 4HP all through the RPM band and 10 more pounds of torque!!! The truck revs much quicker and feels more responsive on low end and i am very happy with this mod!

Jeff,
As you know i have been running 3 tenths slower as of lately with some slipping going on,all i know is it is not in the motor because my dyno numbers for my truck were very close to when i was there 3 weeks ago! It is definitely in the tranny or torque convertor i believe.

High Roller.... Thanks for the post. I was wondering what this was worth. Personally, I was looking to sell mine and buy a new one next year, but the market went south, so I may go on with some mods. I've got a few questions. What other midifications do you have, and how much did this one cost you? Is your fan set up to run automatically or do you have to turn it on manually?

Thanks for the info! This is the kind of stuff we can all benefit from. I have heard of some higher claims than 4 rwhp, but, you never no until you do it on your own truck. I've got a fan and pump sitting in the garage waiting to be installed. I plan on doing an after dyno to see what I get.

Thanks again for the info.

I was woundering if you guys would make up my mind for me. My next mod is either going to be electric fan kit or one of those nice looking BABOLT T/B's. Any suggestions on what to do next , First??
Thanks

The T/B takes about 10 minutes to install but costs more. The fan kit costs less but takes 3-5 hours I'm told. The T/B will make more noise (the good kind); the fan will make less noise (the bad kind).

I bought the T/B first but that's just me.

I've got both sitting in the garage waiting for me to take some vacation and do some wrenching.
