Kick A$$, first test drive '01' L.
Un freekin-believable! As you can see in the sig, my car is no slouch........but......the Lightning gets my vote!
Swung by the local Ford dealer and looked at a bright red '01' L. I didn't even make it seem like a joyride either. Well actually it wasn't I guess because I am actually considering it now. Anyway, I liked everything!! It drove well, handled the bumps and was way more comfortable than the T/A.
I pulled out behind a riced out Eclipse and he took off, so.......I did too!! I scared myself and the salesman because I nearly ran into the guy. I am surprised at how easy it was to drive and how fast it was.
Another interesting thing is that I think it is even easier to park than my car.
Bummer is, I don't think I can afford it right now. Anyone know someone who wants a Unique low milage WS6 T/A?
I may have one guy interested, but never hurts to ask.
And when I say Unique, it is Silver (not pweter) and I have NEVER seen another like it. (except for 1 on camaroz28.com).
Oh, and low milage = 24,500.
For those of you that own one of these monsters, way cool!

Someone should have warned you about the addictive nature of the first test drive 
I can remember the very young, green salesman who sold me mine grinning ear to ear along with me as I punched it getting onto the freeway
You should be able to beat that 13.6 time easily, perhaps stock if you get a strong one. Three basic mods and it's in the 12's.

my first test on the L was in a huge parking lot, the salesman that was with me had never been in one before. both of us had evil grins on our face. i smoked the hell out of a chevy 1500 that stepped up to me. i love these trucks. i get mine tomorrow morning 9:00 sharp.
