Talking Old Man Mod (Quiet L)

I may be getting old, but I felt the L was a little too loud. After a little experimentation, I stumbled across a no power loss mod that I bet cut the interior blower whine in 1/2. Now on the highway I can hear wind noise and tire noise. See this link http://www.ncs-stl.com/Images/FilterBox.jpg The sound insulation I used lines the air intake of a Sea-Doo Watercraft. The racers throw them away all the time.

Talking Happy 4 ya

To each there own, I'm glad you like it quiet. The whine doesn't bother me and everyone at the track loves it. I'm running a K&N panel filter with no airbox bottom at all so it really talks to ya.

I kind of like the blower whine I get from an open element filter, but this would be a great way to go if you needed the quiet - it actually makes you more stealthy for those unsuspecting folks wanting to race

Don't think this mod's been shown before, great idea!
