Question Hotchkis Sway Bar Q's

First off, I believe Silver-Bolt had actually weighed the Hotchkis sway bars for a total of 28 lbs less than stock sway bars? Thank you for that information, btw. My question on this is: Does this equal unsprung weight or?

Second, does anyone have the Hotckis sway bars(along with the rear leaf springs) and the Bassani cat-back exhaust? I would like to know if there are any clearance issues before I attempt this install(Bassani cat-back) on my own in the driveway. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Andy

This is not considered unsprung weight. Tires, wheels, brakes (typically) are "unsprung."

Sway bars are not unsprung weight. Think of unsprung weight as anything outboard of the springs. Over simplification but works pretty well for our trucks. I don't have the Bassani but I do not see anything that would interfear with it. All the new parts leafs and sway bar mount in the stock locations. Nothing should come close to the exhaust.
