NOELVM,
Why don't you get off you high horse oe (elephant ) as the case may be.Some of us race at real 1/4 mile strips. You may be fast in Texas but come out to the real world, many , many L's are faster than yours many, for example mine, but then again I participate at a real Dragstrip 1/4 mile but I'd gladly compare times anyday.Your bs about all the searches and your lack of helping new people on the board makes the ones of us who do like to help look bad. If you tell people about the search function in a positive manner you would be alot more helpfull.

I'm new here too and have seen your *****ty way of treaing people if a subject has been previously talked about. But you can be constructive. How many of your posts involve you retorical search comments.

Maybe the secret is to put you on a board of your own that way you'll know all the answers, and can be more self critical,
get real and be helpful.

There are a lot of us that don't have the luxury of a close 1/4 mile track. Therefore we go to the 1/8th mile strip. From the 1/8th strip you can determine fairly close what an equivalent time is. It won't be 100% accurate but close.
I'm glad you go to a "real dragstrip" because it would be awfully funny to see a lightning running on a fake one.

I think it is a lot easier to explain stuff you have explained before than to just be an a$$hole!!!

I have 500 and some posts and I have friends who own '01 Ls and they are not idiots. They are just eager to learn about these trucks!! I was like that a few months ago and think you acted the same way towards me. Well, poohy on you, because of the people who took time to explain stuff to me I am a knowledgeable Lightning owner now!!!

If newbies bother you, than don't reply to the post.

There are people here who annoy me, but I commune with them as I would with anyone, because I am civil!!

Lightbulb

This topic is dead. Lets all just try to get along.

The past few weeks have been rough on everyone. The past few days I have gotten about 6 hours sleep due to the Nimda virus.

Group Hug !!!

Noel - Just like you I get tired of seeing the same question over and over - However lets back off the Search **** approach. I am sure you have it in you to either ignore the newbie question or post a simple straight forward response Like " Try the search and the FAQ - It has all the answers to the common questions "
And leave the sarcasm out of the responses

Thanks in advance

Doug
