Magnaflow 12468(aluminized) and 14468(stainless) dual in/dual out have a built in X-pipe. If you go with two singles like Ravins or Flows they are mounted at an angle like this: // If you do a search you'll find lotsa info and some pics.

Talking

Go with the Magnaflow...best sound, plus muffler cost was under $100 delivered. Found a local custom muffler shop (owns 93 Lightning), who installed for $75...looks better than factory job. Then there is the sound, thought that the truck turned heads...just add the deep growl and watch

The factory Ford exhaust is unrestrictive but could sound a whole lot better. I hear people say bassani (sp?) exhaust is the way to go. But is $1400 really worth it when others say Magnaflows sound just as good. I also have heard neither will increase performance much, so why spend that much cash?

Just curious

The numbers posted here are 2 in, 2 out single muffler...almost a drop in...just few bends and a little welding...took my guy about 30 min...thus only $75

I do believe Summit sells the MAGNAFLOW.

Before I bought my Bassani system, I had a pair of 2 chamber FLOWMASTERS that sounded fine at cruising speed, but really loud at WOT.
Currently I am running stock manifolds with no cats and the Bassani cat-back. The sound is simply AWESOME
Some of you guys will probably hear it on Saturday.

Power for Power, I would say that the twin Flows gave the "buttometer" a bigger kick than the Bassani. But nothing comes close to the sound of the Bassani mufflers. IMO
