apparently my L is good to go. I picked it up right a while ago. they topped off the i.c. fluid and it looks like they replace the black rubber hose that exits the i.c.
Are they supposed to replace the container or does that sound right.
they did it in one day. i mentioned o1b81 to them and they said they would order the part and have it ready for me next day and sure enough they did.
i don't trust my ford dealer though so i want your opinion as to what they did on my truck.

go over your receipt with a fine tooth comb and cross reference the "fix" part numbers as well as the others.

Did they also replace the spark plugs and do the cylinder compression test?

I believe those are required by the new "TSB".

01B81 doesn't say anything about a compression test or replacing spark plugs. All you do is replace the intercooler (and upper intake assembly I believe) and then refill the system with antifreeze and then pressure test the system at the resevoir to verify that there are no leaks.

Had this done monday and they did change the plugs but they do NOT replace the supercharger. Sounds like the plug change varys from dealer to dealer.
