Supposed to go intomorrow for IC recall. BTW, SVT dealer service writer says Ford will overnite IC fix (BS?) NLOC says fix part is XL3Z-9424-AB Manifold kit,but search on this forum lists other part numbers--what is correct? Is fix 10 row 2001 cooler? Mine is not leaking now-- I think! Read on this forum or NLOC that O2 sensor should be replaced? Any other parts? One time bolts replaced N606500-S100? SW says my veh assm. 4/7/2000 doesn't need seat belt fix or door crack prevent kit according to OASIS. That's not what I get from this forum? QUICK RESPONSES APPRECIATED! THANKS

 

What IC recall. Have a 2000, haven't heard or received anything about an IC recall, but would be nice.

#01B81, effective 9/30/1 according to earlier posts all '99 & '00's will be replaced. Do a search if ya need more info or before noel the grouch sees this.

Just got the new kit installed on my 99 last week...bad leak just started, and lost a complete tank in one week. new Kit included O2 sensors, upper manifold, 2001 intercooler (more air ), replaced plugs (I supplied new NGK's) and perform a compression check to ensure that the motor is still OK!

It is no small job, and will probably take at least 8 hours to complete. My work sheets, are in the truck, so the time is a guess. The truck feels stronger, but haven't run with ET's and chip yet....Friday

Ford will send a recall notice to al 99/00 owners soon....look for it in the mail! My leak was just timed, so I got the kit, but not the recall

Thanks Big D! So we are getting 2001 10 row IC? Hope you also got 1 time bolt kit N606500-S100? Any other inputs on IC parts & procedures? ANYBODY WITH INFO ON SEAT BELT & DOOR CRACK PREVENT KIT MENTIONED ABOVE? Again, thanks for any help!
