Intercooler problem

when you out engine coolant in your intercooler what kind do you use is prestone alright and do you mix it with water or just straight coolant? If you mix with water how much? 50-50 70-30

Ya get it to the dealer and get a new intercooler. If you have to add fluid use distilled water, and a water pump lubricant.

You need to do a search on intercooler leaks. There is a wealth of information there.

The intercooler is a self-contained unit. It is over the engine intake. If it is leaking, most likely it is leaking into the engine contaminating the plugs, sensors, cat converters, etc. A really bad leak will destroy the engine.

You need to get to an SVT dealer as soon as possible and get a new intercooler and maybe other parts too. I think SVT has put together a baseline kit for this repair.
