Pedal vibration at full throttle?

less than 2 weeks old, 800 miles already, and when I put my foot into it, the higher the rpms get, the pedal has some vibration, then it shifts and goes away, until high rpms again.

Do the things make a lot of noise at high rpms?, as far as air, kinda like a sneezing sound when it shifts? I'm new to the forced induction scene.

normal on F-150?

I have a v6 f-150 and when it was new I remember my pedal vibrating but it doesnt' do it any more. I think it's an F-150 thing.
If you pop the hood, you can find the throttle cable coming thru
the firewall. There is a sort of weight on it that can slide up and
down it. Try adjusting that to dampen the vibration?

I don't even know if the Lightning is set up the same way, but I suspect so.
It is an annoying tingling feeling I know.

I have heard that the sneezing sound has to do with the blower belt.

Hope this helps

I was wondering if you have given the motor a chance to brake in yet? i'd get at least 4,000 mi on it before you start droppin the hammer like that... only thing that may happen, is that you might throw a berring... or do the engines come allready broke in from the factory?

I always found the following video interesting because of the vibration during the shifts at WOT:

Uphill with slight left turn

Talking Thats the best vid

Hey Spike
HEHE what did you put your camera under your hood while you were racing? How did you get light under there, a flashlight? I would have loved to see you hoocking up that setup.

TX
Do you get the Vibration, at about 3500 rpms, and at 90 mph? If so it may be a vibration comming from the exhaust system.

The sneezing, or as it has been called before "Farting" when it shifts is pritty common on unchiped trucks. It has to do with the computer shutting down 4 spark plugs when you upshift.

Do a search, there are many topics about these two things.

I was bored one day and attached the camera under the hood. Dreamin asked whether or not I could get a video of the rubber boot on the intake to verify whether or not it was collapsing under WOT. I grabbed an extra flashlight for light, but I should have hooked up a better one.

Here's a directory with more videos, if you're interested:

You're welcome! My favorite videos are of the dogs. I've removed a whole bunch of videos, Lightning and dogs, from that directory. I should add them back.

The one that gets the biggest response is the race between me, a Viper and a GNX down the main straight at a local road course.

that the whippet beats the Rhodesian Ridgeback-at least the 'sprints'? (Btw, I can't view the vids--wish I could-maybe soon?)
