First stoplight road kill
First off I am like most of you and can’t keep my foot out of it. In fact, someday I’d like to know how many of us hit the go fast pedal at least once a day if not always? I’ve tried not to but can’t seem to pull it off.
To date I have had but three occasions to embarrass other vehicles. My latest was this week with a 2001 BMW M/Coup. I had passed him on a local highway not intending to do anything. They guy had a red BMW complete with special wheels, big fat tires and a roll bar. This car looked fast going slow.
The light up ahead turned red and wouldn’t you know it… this guys pulls up casually, next to me at the light. When I passed him earlier, he was going about 30 in a 45. Now next to me I could tell he was checking the side light for yellow and realized what he had in mind. Sure enough, when the light changed to green, he nailed it. I wasn’t ready so he got me before I hit it. I was quite surprised at how quickly I passed him and how easily I pulled away from him.
When I hit 95, I couldn’t believe he was actually trying to catch me, instead he was falling further back. I hung my hand out my window and gave a back off type of wave. He did and immediately turned and went in a different direction. Didn’t give me the chance to see the look on his face but I bet it was priceless.
My other two times… one was a C5 Vette (beat him) and the other, unfortunately was a 2000 Red Lightning (beat him too).
Can you tell???? I really enjoy this vehicle!

Awesome i know that feeling there is nothing like these trucks wait till you really start modding her up and can see what she can do hehe. All i know is that i get more looks and thumbs up in her then i do in my sis's lexus gs300. When im not driving the lightning im thinking about driving her and when i am i got a smile on my face all the time enjoy rickgig.
