4-Link Idea
4-Link Idea
I was just looking at the underside of my friends Navigator, and it appears to have a 4-link type rear suspension...stock. If the Nav's have the same rear housing, can't we simply box their factory bars and adabt this suspension to the L?
Someone already sells a panhard setup, the stock leaf spring hangers can be used as front mounts, so the fabrication seems pretty simple. In drag racing, 4-links rule over ladder bars (which I've been working on), and ride better on the street.
Over course, towing will be comprimised...oh well, I've got another truck for that
Does this seem logical?...

The Navigator is a 4-link? Did not know that. Must be the self leveling suspension. Have to look into this.
I did extensive work on designing a bolt on 4-link. Proved to be too many comprimises. A weld on setup would be know problem. I know Ruslow is looking at designing a bolt on kit also.
Looks like I need to find a Nvai to scope out.
