I have made a decesion--no a vow to fly the American Flag in front of my house until these ba$tards are brought to justice. We must honor our fellow Americans who have perished in this horrible tragedy.

There are many flags already flying in my neighborhood. It would be great for the rest of the world to see these symbols of American pride and strength. It would also be great to have the news media show the flags everywhere they went across the US. The rest of the world would see how this has united us again.

 

Hell Yeah Jay put mine out today and its gonna stay until we get those bastards. You wanna know what really makes me mad though and turns my stomach is when you see those people celebrating about what has happened. Its bad enough that they do it over there but i heard today that like 2 towns over from where i live they were celebrating in the streets the aribs were because there is a large population of them in that town.

I don't think this will stop until Israelis and palestinians just share the land over there. I think one of the main reasons for the tower tragedy is because America gives full support to certain races....or should i say favoritism. What do you think these people will do especially if they believe in dying for a cause?
The U.S. should just stay away and let them deal with their own issues. I wouldn't be surprised if this will escalate into the beginnings of WW3.

The gulf war was about americas oil interests..plain and simple. Do you really think for one minute we would have went over there helping some tiny country if there wasn't any financial gain?
It is kind of sad to send our troops over there to die because some corporations want to secure their interests.

It's really easy to just talk about getting revenge but i feel some people have not really looked into the big picture and asked themselves questions as to why this happened. Killing innocent people is not the answer and yes i feel those responsible should be held accountable but this goes far beyond what happened yesterday. I think it is safe to say until those countries deal with their OWN issues we had better be prepared to deal with the fanatics that emerge looking for retaliation.

 

Sorry Jay but I dont want them brought to justice. I want them executed. Thats all terrorists understand.

This isnt the fault of the little nation of Israel. Make no mistake, the palestinians will not be happy until they OWN Israel. As far as the west bank, that is land the palestinians lost when they attacked Israel. This is the fault of terrorists that are jealous of the USA. They cannot do in milleniums what took us less than 200 years. We send people to the moon and they can't even design and build their own cars. They are jealous of our freedoms mostly though. We are the "great satan" and Israel is the "little satan" to them. Worldwide we have been seen lately as weak and they saw their chance and took it.

 

Fly the flag proudly. But don't wear your *ignorance* so proudly.

Nostromo is right. The USA will continue to pay the price for our political, military and economic support of Israel.

Frank S, you might want to actually read your history books instead of just drooling on them. The modern state of Israel did not exist until the partition of Palestine by the British and the U.N. after WWII. In point of fact, the Palestinians want *their* country back.

It's hard to fault the Jews for wanting a country they can call their own. The persecution of European Jews in the 20th century, particularly in Russia, and then Germany, made them realize they had no friends they could count on in the international community, and made Zionism a practical necessity for the Jewish people.

But it still screwed over the Palestinians, and the struggle of the Palestinians to regain what they lost is ongoing.

There is no doubt that Israel is a staunch and reliable ally of the USA, and it has been in our political and economic self-interest interest to back them, but the morality of the whole situation is hardly clear-cut.

You all make me laugh you all talk about all this ***** that has been going on over there for years. When you miss the whole point of this post by Jay. Its for what happened on tuesday the innocent people that were mudered for What?? Just going to work. Or what about all the innocent fireman and police man that ran into those buildings to save those people then died when they collaposed. On my drive to work everyday i see those buildings, i saw them that morning on my way to work but on my way home all that i saw was a huge cloud of smoke. I mean seeing it on tv is one thing but when it is right out your back window and seeing army helicopters and f16 fighter jets fly over your house it is really unbelieveable. As for anyone saying killing innocent people isnt the answer or that we will pay the price for our support of Israel. Well what do you call all the inncocent people that died there after the first plane crashed people were told in the other tower it was clear to go back to work then the other plane struck and they were trapped. So dont tell me killing innocent people isnt the answer because thats bull they arent innconet over there they harbor these cowards. You see the tapes of them celebrating in the streets and thier little kids are celebrating to. Thats what you have to realize the kind of people we are dealing with because if we dont do something to show that an act of cowardiness like this wont be tolorated then their little kids that are celebrating will be the next ones to do something. And let me ask all of you this how do you think those people on those planes felt knowing what was gonna happen or when they called their famlies to tell them what was going on. Those people are the heros on that one flight that crashed that they said they had a plan to over take the hijackers. God knows how many lives they saved by sacarficing themselves and bringing that plane down. Some of the responses in your post made my stomach turn as much as hearing that in 2 towns over from where i live they were celebrating in the streets. They arrested two men for doing that on liberty island and will possibly deport them. Good they should and for any of you who cant get behind and back your country in a time of crisis like this then the same should happen to you. Ill end this post like this just think all those people were doing was going to work and they were murdered , those people on the planes were just travling and they were murdered. So before you start defending anyone and saying killing innocent people isnt the thing to do just think that that could have been anyone of us.

around 2000 years ago. What did they do? They could not,
did not, would not accept his ways which were different from
theirs, so they KILLED HIM.
