Anyone using Stillen rotors and pads yet?

I talked to a guy at Steve Millen Sportparts about the Stillen cross drilled sport rotors and metal-matrix pads. He gave me a price (for parts only) of $799? This is a lot cheaper than Brembos. I know these are just being offered now, but I was wondering if anyone is using them yet? I do a lot of road racing, and the $800 mod would be worth it if it works. Tom

pretty good!

Wow, that's not too shabby.
Mind passing on the contact information over to me? Sounds like a pretty good investment. Do they have any specs as far as how much better braking would be?

I put Ruslow's disks on the front (less expensive than Stillen's). With different pads, and DOT 4 fluid, the braking is much better. I hope to have Hawk pads prior to the next event.

Ooh, I like those. Pardon me; I read this board all the time, but perhaps my brain isn't functioning; who's Ruslow, and where can I contact him for a set of those puppies!?!

I talked to Shawn Stavis. You better talk to him for the specs. His number at Millen Sportparts is (714)540-9154 ext. 122

Stan (Ruslow) has left for Nevada to race Gold Rush and Silverstate Classic, so if you email him, don't expect an answer back until the end of September. I'll be talking with him friday and will update the board regarding the races.

Regarding "who's ruslow?" Stan will say that he's "just a wrench with access to cool tools." Do a search on the user name "ruslow" here and on nolc.org and decide whether or not he's "just a wrench."

Thumbs up

I have Ruslow's rotors as well, I bought them for all the way around, they are great. Just do a search on the user name Ruslow and you will find all of the info that you need.

Oh, THAT Ruslow. now I know who he is. He should be referred to as "Ruslow-with-the-wicked-cool-Lightning-that-he-races-in-the-Silver-State-Classic" so that dorks like me will know who he is right away!

If he's that guy, then I'll buy whatever he tells me to!

Stan is more then a "just a wrench with access to cool tools." I think he's holding out on us.

Those are definately some nice rotors! I'm gonna have to think about working on my trucks stopping power.
