So maybe I sold out to the Harley Crowd. But I had them on my Stang, and now I put them on the truck and I like them. Hey if it won't go, you may as well show. Let me hear your opinions though. Like if you guys think it looks stupid or something? I suppose it does make the truck a bit slower, they are heavier. Billet Aluminum vs Plastic????

IF THAT IS WHAT YOU LIKE IT'S O.K. I OWN BOTH RICE & A HARLEY ,BUT I PUT A YAMAHA EMBLEM ON MY BACK WINDOW JUST BECAUSE EVERY ONE PUTS A HARLEY STICKER ,EVEN IF THEY DONT EVEN OWN ONE! TO EACH HIS OWN. IF IT IS ON AN "L" IT STILL LOOKS GOOD!

 

I like it, it looks pretty cool. I have a Harley sticker on my back window, I even put the Harley tonneau cover on it as well.

Thanks for posting the pic. I`ve seen them on Ebay lately and was wondering how they would look. I kind of like them. The ones on Ebay state that they light up, do the ones you have installed have any lighting in them??

 

where do you buy those things at?

Also, is there a lot of billet aluminum addons for the trucks, maybe i am just looking in the wrong place, but i rarely see them.

 

We are now selling some Billet pieces for the trucks. So far we have the A/C ***** (light up), and the door lock/window switch/mirror switch kits. We have our first shipment coming and there are other parts being designed right now. I'll have pricing and details on our new site, once it goes up in a few days.

 

Brushed would look better IMHO. Still look cool though.


Speaking of decals.... Here's one for ya.

 

YES, they light up. I got them on eBay. The guy has had them in stock for over 2 weeks now. And now he's gonna have custom colors for the illumination. He says Green (factory), Clear, Blue and RED. He aslo has the window door locks and window, and mirror switches in BILLET. I just ordered a set, I'll post a PIC once I get them and install them.

 

not trying to be an a-hole here but are you sure you put those in a lightning. The picture you have on here is not from a lightning.

Lightnings have 3 black dash pieces and one of them is the radio bezel, which is depicted in the picture above only yours is gray.

Hmmm???? You're right. I just looked at mine and the trim surrounding the radio and a/c ***** is black, not grey as in the above picture. Maybe the 01's are different or something?

 

Maybe the guy painted his bezel gray. Maybe that's not a pic of his truck, but off a website, or someone elses truck because the guy couldn't scan his pics or something. What does it really matter? They are the same ***** whether it's an Lightning or regular F-150.

 

I put a Yamaha sticker on my back window, too. I own 6 bikes, all Yamaha.

Not a dig nor was it intended to be. I'm just curious if the 01s are different from ours or something. I noticed several differences (99 vs 00) that weren't mentioned when checking out CA's and Noel's Ls. My guess is that he doesn't have a digi cam (like my poor a$$ ) and had to "steal" one off the 'Net. Just curious....that's all.
