Do you know how much boost it will have?
The last time I spoke with Vincent at Whipple Sales he didn't think it would be any more boost than we have now....
Of course being a true screw blower ( not generating as much heat as the Eatons) it should pack more punch with the same boost.

I had an e-mail conservation with a sales person from Whipple over one month ago and he said that the replacement unit would produce approximately 6 to 7 pounds of boost. I personally felt that the saleman did not know enough about the Lightnings--so hopefully the replacement unit will produce more than 6 to 7 pounds. Even though the screw charger will be more efficient (i.e., less heat) than the Eaton, it seems that boost on a Lightning would need to be substantially higher than 7 pounds to make a significant increase in power.
