I ran my truck at the track the other night with my new mods for the first time. I have a 00 with a JL lower pulley, 90mm mas air, JL ram air, JL Diablo chip, and ET streets. I could not get traction worth a crap and the best time out of 3 runs was an 8.75 at 80.54 mph. Yes I havent had time to perfect my launches, but what should I expect to run if I hook up? And what is the best way to hook and launch on ET Streets?

 

I ran a 8.265 tonight 1.892 60 ft. 84.58mph. 86* and fairly humid. I iced the intake for about 20 min. before my run. I have all the mods listed below. I ran without tailgate, bedcover, and spare tire-but I had 3/4 tank of gas. It is hard to get traction with this JL stuff! I was spinning off the line and durning the1-2 shift(almost lost it and went into the other lane).
As far as your 60 foot times it could be bad track prep, not enough burn out, launching at too high of an rpm. I was getting 8.7's with out the pulley so you should be getting better times than that. The problem is probably your 60 ft times. But it also depends upon the weather and altitude and humidity...If all else fails call JL, he hooked me up
