This guy has a few sets for sell, I know another Guy that can get them also, and with the actual CLEAR corners not shown on these.

What a ripoff. I got mine from Stylin Concepts for $229.95. Same exact ones ones on Ebay made by APC. I hope no one pays more than $250 for these because 230-250 seems like the going price from Godfathers and Autobahn.

Thumbs down

They are also not REAL projector lenses.

The secondary new H3-fog on them is a real projector lense, but the regular 9007 is [bold]NOT[/bold] a projector lense. It is merely a [bold]REFLECTIVE[/bold] headlight in a circular shape. There is a cap over the end of the bulb.

I'll stick with my CrystalEyes...They're SAE/DOT approved.

Hey Thepawn-How do you like your real HID lights? I just installed mine in my 01 and don't really like them. I'm getting a lot of light output in areas that don't need them and there is a black spot in the middle of each headlight from the cap over our 01 clear headlights. Do you have the same problems? How did you solve them? I was seriously thinking of getting the APC projectors myself but after seeing the pic of them with almost the same setup as our 01 clears, I'm searching else where. Do you know of any headlights for our 01 L's with real projectors?

Thanks

HEY PAWN,

Your mechanics were right in your effort to make a BOLD word; however in this format do not write out the word bold just use the letter b and it will work.

Unforunately, I don't know of any real projectors yet. I was hoping the APC lights woud be them, but they're not.

My Crystal Eyes do not have a covered center cap, (just a reflective ring to reduce dazzle) so they do not have the dead-spot in the center. When using the approriate R type xenon lights, they light up really well. I only have a pic of my older CrystalEyes, not the replacement ones. Soon as I get a new pic, I'll post it up.

Which HID kit did you get? My understanding is the black spot is from the focal length of the bulb being slightly too far foward or backword... My Focuz lights had this problem with my old CrystalEyes, but my new ones dont have that issue (they have an open center dome). I think www.hidkits.com makes a correct focal-length bulb...
