01 Lightning 3rd brake light
Does anbody know if a 01 Lightning 3rd brake light will work on my 98 Std Cab? If so where can I get one besides Ford? Any feedback would be appreciated.

I put the 01 LED third brake light on my 00 Lightning and im pretty sure that there are guys who have put them on their 99's. So im guessing that thier isnt that much of a difference in the 99 and 98 f150s. As for the install was easy for me i just had to take out the hooks at the back of my headliner so that i could pull down the headliner a little bit to get to the wiring. To hook it up its easy just unplug the stock third brake light and plug in the new LED one then use the stock screws to screw it in place. The LEDs are awesome and they really light up the whole bed. For where to get them from dont go through your dealer i found that the best place to get any ford part is here http://www.fordpartsonline.com. They have the best prices around give you prices below list. Just give them a call and they will take car of you.
