Me too.....

but we're gettin' better, just not good enough--yet.

Last Fri, I turned a 13.169@105--new best. Last nite, I ran a 13.109@104.71 with JL's new pulley but no reburned chip(ups'ed to JL Thur.). Was afraid of detonation so I added 2 gals. of 110 LEADED(their 100 unleaded pump was broken) to a 1/4 tank of Texaco 93--hope I haven't ruined the cats, etc.(no lites).

My best times for the nite were: 60' was a 1.950, 1/8, 8.413@84.27, and 1/4, 13.109@104.71.

There was a Syclone there--in the 13s., two Buick GNXs--one in the 12s and one in the 11s. The one in the 11s whupped me bad--my 13.196@104.72 to his 11.601@119.10.

Couple of friends(Jerry and Terry) kept 'coaching' me on tire pressures(down to 15lbs-'hot') and launching procedures. They helped me get a new 'low' et and so did JL.

Almost forgot---met 'Rusty'-red 99L-last nite. He drove in from way over in east Ga. Beautiful L with the full Basanni exhaust--loud and fast!

Later, Dan
