Where to purchase Wheel/slicks

I am in search of wheels and slicks for my L. What is everyone running: make, size? Also Where did you purchase them from? I was looking at doing the 15" wheel to go wider but I do not want to do any grinding. It seems most are running ET Streets, is this the best tire for us? I noticed a BFGoodrich Comp T/A Drag Radial size, 275/40r-17 this would be a tread width of 10.2 to the ET streets 9.7. Another tire I have been looking at is the Nitto NT-555R, it comes in the following sizes: 275/40R-17 with a width of 10.91 and the 315/35R-17 with a width of 12.13. They also told me that a 305/40R-18 will be out soon. Has anyone used any of these tires on the L? Does anyone know of new ET street tire sizes comming out?

I went with American Racing Outlaw's in the 16" x 10" size.
And the Mickey Thompson E/T Streets in the 26" x 11.5" x 16" size.
Keep in mind that you must pick up a set of 14mm X 2.0 pitch
conical lug nuts as the stock nuts on the "L" are flat and will
not seat on the aftermarket wheel.
All in all I am very pleased with their launching capabilities.
I run them at 15.5 to 17.0 lbs.
Word to the wise, switch them at the track unless it is next door
to your house as they can be squirrely on the street.

Hope this helps

Cool

You will find that most Lightning owners are using the E.T Streets with most be very happy with the results.Myself i have tried them several times and did not care for them but by using 16 inch drag radials i find some times they hook really good then the next time they do not at the track, very inconsistant tire most of the time. But i just changed to a new setup,i went with a 17x10 rim and 315 35 17inch nitto drag radial and i can tell you that these hook much better on the street compared to the narrower 16 inch D.R i was using.I will post when i get a chance to test them at the track to see for sure if they really are better!
