Stan,
I hope you have better luck with a bolt on 4-link for the L than I did. A weld on will be no problem the bolt on looked to require a few mods some people may not be will to make. The exhaust was one of the big problems. Easy to do with very short bars, but to do it right with proper bars proved to be a challenge. Love to see how yours progresses. Still may do a weld on for mine.

Emailed the pic to a friend and he going to post. And yes there is a few compromising things and one is the bar length but it still should do better than the cal-tracs which if any of you are old enough was done by ford back in the 60s on the 390 comets and such.So to say the least it is old tech.Stan

Cool, like to see the pics.

Stan if you haven't done so already you should look into the urethane control are bushings and Hotchkis sway bars. Huge difference over stock. I know you have advanced well past stock, I think these are still worth a look.

Already past that too.I am in the process of having bushing made that are offset drilled for the pivot hole to help out on the geometry of the control arms and help with bump steer even more.[I hope]Stan

What the FRICK is the guy going to do with that on a Suburban? Nice work. Hopefully it is helping to finance your race season.

the panhard bar for this vehicle is a whole lot easier to build because there is no brace under the body to interfear with. There are a few minor problems that i plan on working out Fri.Hope to be driving it Sat or Sunday at the latest.Because I will be leaving for NV on Monday so it has to be done!!!I can make part of it a bolt on but the axle brackets no way because of the twisting force I don't know of a clamp that would hold that kind of torque these trucks have with sticky tires.but there again I plan on road racing not a drag racer. But it will have coil overs mounted almost vert so the spring rate and dampen rate will be real easy to figure out.Stan
Olus this is a street vehicle and the owner did not want to spend 30 for each heim so I opted for urethane instead. But mine will be heims.

I don't know but I do know that in this area the street rod guys go crazy for things not on any other car.I have a few freinds who have put northstar motors in 55 nomads and rivs that is what wins in the shows.Stuff that now one else has done. This guy asked if it could be done and did not care about price so I said sure, why not try is a good test bed to see how it will work on my truck.Stan, remember I live in Walmart country and there is alot of it floating around and I want to get some of it.
