15" Wheels/slicks
I am in search of the best wheel/slick combo for our trucks. What is everyone using? If anyone is running 15" wheels, do you have pics of the modification needed? Also the bolt pattern, can anyone tell me what it is?
Tommylightning,
The 15" rims require grinding of the brake calipers so they will fit good. Totaled has done this mod and so has Jim(JDM). I don't have any pics because I have not done this mod yet. I am not sure of the exact bolt pattern but I know '99s have 12mm threads and '00 and '01 have 14mm threads.

There are NO 15 inch wheels that wil fit our set-up without a custom set of wheels, and alot of grinding of the calipers. The wheels pictured below are a set of spare tire wheel centers, and a pair of American Racing 15 x 10 inch wheels custom welded together.
Others have tried to duplicate this, but have not been able to. They are expensive, but well worth the money in my book. For tires I mounted a set of Mickey Thompson ET Streets size 28 x 12.5 x 15.

The wheels pictured above are the same that JDM has made, contact me and I will pass on the info to you (save you a few bucks). Or if your interested mine are for sale as well here in the classifieds.
