Hot truck????

Pretty sure that Ford DOES have dealers in SA! Yeap! They do. Linky for you. http://www.ford.com.br/ http://corporate.ford.com/our-company/country-websites

Pretty sure there's no way to bypass anti-theft system. After all, that IS the point of having it! Nice try though! You're going to have to take truck to Ford dealer and PROVE that it's YOUR truck. Good luck with that!

So you have a Lightning? That makes it 2004 or earlier, unless you have the little bar code key tags the truck came with new you're pretty much looking at tracking down a good locksmith.

Ford only stores key codes by VIN for ten years and due to corporate policy there is no way to access key codes without the vehicle owner standing at the counter with picture ID and proof of ownership.

Being at best an '04 your code is more than likely gone, many locksmiths these days have purchased the equipment required to programs PATS systems since virtually every car has one now.

Good luck, Steve

A good locksmith should have the tool that plugs into your OBDII port to program new keys into your PATS and remove the old one that's lost. If that's not a option, then a dealer or reputable ford certified shop is your next.
