Locking Lug Nuts ?? available??

I went to my local Discount Tire, NTB and the Ford Dealer, all say there is nothing available. Anyone else find some yet? what are the specs/sizes I'm looking for? thanks

Call Gorilla Auto @ 800-262-6267. Ask for Kay and you need the 14mm ones. She'll probably just ask what year and model truck you have to look up the correct nuts and p/n. Gorilla locks look better, work better, and cost less than McGard (which is what Ford sells to their customers).

McGard won't sell you the locking lug nuts for the 2001 and I don't believe they make them for the 1999. Ford dealers sell them for 2001. I can't compare them to Gorilla but I can tell you that the McGard is very high quality and IMHO look just fine.

I work in the tire industry and the best lock without a doubt is the McGard... Gorilla makes a good quality lock too but the key strips out too easy so if you have gorilla and take to tire shop ask for the locks to be taken off by hand and also put on snug and hand torqued... McGard is the easiest to remove if the lock is missing and I have had McGard on 4 different cars/trucks and always put them on with a impact gun snug and have never broken a lock or key in 10 years of using them... With the Gorilla's we have the keys strip and edges of the locks round out alot... That's just my opinion of Gorilla vs. McGard... Too bad McGard doesn't make for my truck or it would have had a set on it already...

Later, Justin
