Guys
Do we have a diner thing going on for friday night????Are the women going to be there.Dwight,Jake how did you guys do yesterday,sorry Deb and I had to leave but her grandmother is ill and we went to see her when I did my great .464 light,boy ya think I'd learn!!!!!Jim hope your feeling better....
Dwight,lets make friday another day off,I like those three day work weeks!!!!!!maybe lunch go tech in and a bit of test and tune,I'd like to see that 12.49 but I think it will come in cooler weather,the12 .55 at least showed me it wasn't a fluke...
You guys and wives take care......Let me know what the game plan is.

If I don't go to Finland tomorrow, I will take Friday off and come play with you and Jim. If I'm off, lets do the tech check on Friday night......and then refreshments
I broke out on my second trophy run by .003 seconds...let off the gas, but should have hit the brake...the other guy was coming hard though

man that was a close one,see the old L is running better and better.If were gonna do dinner,like friday evening I doubt well be able to do test and tune,you know how those Fridays get,pretty busy.I would suggest TGIF for dinner as they have great food, and haven't heard you complain about any of their beverages.
I think you know just about what to expect from the L,in the good weather like 70 or so I think your looking at about 13.25-13.30,it will do it.....Ya gotta remember alot of it is pilot error,LOL.
I'm gonna figure out a way to get my passenger seat out,and see what else I can unbolt(I'm sure that surprises you).
Plan on being at the track all day sat and most of sun. you know how they treat the Lightning class...
I'm gonna call cordova and see if you can go thru tech on friday,or be there real early sat.Tell the Jakester to bring his teepee,that was nice...We'll probably have to pit inb the sand so it outta be a real treat but I sure would like to see one of my L buddys get the cash $500 to the winner,that's the check I want those $100 checks kinda suck,LOL..

Friday afternoon for Baby Jake is a GO!!! I do have departures scheduled for the afternoon, but a co-worker will cover them for me, (thanks Jon!). I should be good-to-go around noon.

We are planning to to to Cordova after lunch to get the trucks teched. Then T&T after 6 if no rain...or dinner at TGIF with refreshments. Wives are invited....Nan and Nancy are coming. Lightning Bob and Rob G will probably meet us at the track this afternoon.

Thanks for the update Dwight. I'm planning on checking out of work ~12:00; got to get money, ice, water and REFRESHMENTS. See 'ya at the track after that. I doubt if Lisa will attend tonight, I'm not even sure about myself yet. That little bugger of ours does require attention. 
P.S. Do you, or anyone, know if there is a spectator admission fee for this afternoon? I have a friend that would like to ride along with me.

Hey guys, I just recieved some good and some bad news for me!
Well think week I have been working on a proposal for a interior demo of a building downtown. I've been puching numbers all week and getting a good price for them.
So hear we go!
The good news, I got the job I came in 9,300 bucks cheaper then the second place guy on a $360,000 bid.
Now the bad news, They want this job to start tonight and I got to go run it for a few days cause All my supervisors are working on other projects. Why is this bad, I won't be at cordova this year.
Sorry to bust anyone's hopes up, like you all care anyway. But I just wanted to give you guys the heads up so I don't get any chit like last year at byron. I heard that there is a thing going on at 41 in a couple weeks so I want to go there.
I got so much stuff to test and try out. I really want to get this first 11 scond run over with so I'm not nervous anymore. Anyway, Have fun guys and I really wish I could be there but duty calls and I have to work before play.
Later, Drink a beer for me!
