I've read online that flat spots can be permanent if the tires sit long enough, which I'm afraid I have well surpassed.
I guess my questions are:
1. Is there any amount of driving that can resolve this?
2. Any tricks to help it along?
3. Anybody else out there let tires sit this long and got the flat spots out?
Tires are old, age wise but they're probably have 80% of their tread life still on them. I'm not a big fan of doing a bunch of burnouts on them to try to smooth them out due to the mess of rubber on the rear quarters from that. Maybe having a tire shop shave them, if that's an option any more? Any ideas?
Thanks for your time.
