I'm interested in purchasing a used saleen. I seen a used 95s351 conv, that I really like. It is not the supercharged version though. But he said it can be supercharded for around $3500. Anybody know where to go to find used values or anyone have an idea of what its worth. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks

 

Hey Sovich, I have been doing alot of research lately on the S-351 Saleens concerning values and reliability issues. what I am finding is the value guides that I use and many others do is www. nadaguides.com Go to the collector car edition and go under Saleen to get all the years values. also CPI value guide is a good one that Hemmmings uses on its website. what I have been finding about the reliability of these saleens is that the early S-351's have had a lot of build and part quality problems. Starting with the 97 and newer s-351's the quality and bulid of these cars are supposed to be much better than the earlier models. I will be looking for a S-351 R-model next spring but they are very rare with not many available so it might be tough to find. My 95 R model on the other hand has been great and is rock solid in its build and relialibility. Possibly might buy another 95 R and supercharge that instead. we shall see. good luck with whatever you end up buying. later 95rcobra.
