NJ guys...I hear that the NJ troopers will be using lasers now instead of radar...is that true?

The Twin M10 is one of the better laser jammers, but I hadn't heard about NJ introducing laser.

Are defintely using lasers. I've got the Bel 320 detector. I has laser mood. Have gotten shot by laser on the NJ Turnpike. Scared the ***** out of me. Knew the detector picks up laser, but never been shot. Never heard that sound before come from the detector. It read laser across it's screen, an was loud. I get hit more then once. Everytime time I got hit, there was Johnny Law. So, decide for yourself. But there still using the radar as well. Be careful on the Turnpike, Parkway an Expressway. There new, and they love to use them. Hope this helps guys.

 

Dan, YOU haven't heard that NJ troopers are going to laser? There was a full page in sunday's Star Ledger a few weeks back about this very subject. Bottom Line, if you speed and you are shot with laser, your are as good as done!LOL The article says that the laser has a red dot that the police use to direct the laser. Hello points on my license

 

So why dont we get lasers too and have a friendly game of laser tag?

Like it isn't bad enough, another tool to aid in the neverending battle to legally extort money from citizens. Ever wonder why the politicians who make these "road rules"pass them? Well because they always get driven around in a limo or a plane and it never really applies to them. Isn't it cool paying taxes for them to give you tickets? Pretty cool eh?
