Thumbs up 12.659 on 22's

Well, I just wanted to let you know my new best time and how the quest for low 12's on 22's was going. I went to New England Dragway tonight and ran a best of 12.659 at 110.69mph on my 22's with a 60' time of 1.947. With a little more work I can feel a sub 12.50 on it's way

WOW, that is pretty good, I thought those 22s would have put you back to about 13.50 or so. I was wrong.

Good Job man!!!!

Bill, great job! All I have to say is that you are a braver man than me! I don't know if I could bring myself to race on those 22s, I can only imagine what they cost!!

Thanks Sal, I am going to be changing the size of my back tires pretty soon so I am having fun burning them off. It's about $1000.00 for the rear tires so they are costly burn outs, bun fun ones

Talking

John,
Yes I tried the 75 dry shot tonight, I gained about 2 tenths and 2 miles per hour from Sunday without it. It needs a little work, I think a 75 shot should add more than that. I will work on it and see if I can't get it below the 12.50 range.

Good run Bill

Whats going on with the drag radials you tried to run last weekend. Are they going to swap the rims for you?

Sorry I couldn't make it there last night, something better came up. hehe

Keith, I'm glad to know you're reading my posts.

Great times. On tires that are about 1/2 inch narrower than F1's!

Wink

Don,
I put them above my garage, I guess they will sit there until I see someone looking for a set of 17x11" wheels with 315/35/17 BFG drag radials. I am going to wait for the 15's that Jim should have available in a few weeks. Yeah, I thought you would be there last night, but If something came up, LOL I can understand. I hope she was fun, and was saying yes all night and not no...

easterisland,
Thanks and don't forget about 2" less of sidewall too.

Bill
